White Night Furies - the first and only roller derby team in Russia.
Girls began training in May 2013. Since then, the White Night Furies twice visited the Games in Finland (August 2014, January 2015) and once in Sweden (August 2015).
19 girls team (players, referees), existing peacefully side by side with different religious, sexual and outlook on life.
In summer, the team trains at the Palace Square in the rest of the time - in the gym.
The difficulties faced by roller derby players: lack of professional trainers and suitable rooms. Girls are training themselves, finding exercises on the Internet, they themselves translating the rules WFTDA (Women's International Association for roller derby on a flat track). In addition furies goes abroad to gain experience of the game.
Girls from the team were training and playing in Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Portugal, Germany and Finland.
Coaches and players from France, Australia, Norway, Spain, the United States come to visit the White Night Furies
The team is preparing for the trip to Finland where in January will taking part in three games in Helsinki and Porvoo. The main purpose - to represent Russia at the international level. To do this, the Furies are wanting to get into the world's top teams and take part in international competitions.
